So you wanna know a little something something?

This is the first Valentine's Day that I could actually have a Valentine!
That makes me excited.
But want to know what makes me bummed? I DON'T have one.

As it turns out, last year I DID have a Valentine. But I don't think that my 9-year-old little brother really qualifies. I love him but a sibling as a Valentine just isn't the same as a real live MAN. You know what I mean?

And so this year I shall be celebrating 'Singles' Awareness Day'!
But I'll still be dressing extra cute on Sunday and making the guys think 'Why didn't I ask a girl to be my Valentine?'. But I'm not going to stress about it.

Valentine's Day is a day to show ANYBODY that you love them. Whether it be a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, father, aunt, uncle, etc.
Just for the record, I've already written Happy Valentine's letters to my grandmothers.
Let's feel the love this Sunday. But let's also keep it going throughout the entire YEAR!

Perhaps next year I'll actually have a Valentine. But for now, I'm just going to live life to its fullest. I'm going to laugh at the silly things I do and not beat myself up for my imperfections. I'm a young adult. My life's moving along quickly. Aren't I supposed to just do my best to enjoy it while it comes?
