Most of the people at church and my friends know that I graduated from high school a year early.
Well, guess what? It's graduation time again.
The 2010 class of Hutchison High School is graduating in just a few weeks. I grew up with those kids.
It's weird looking at my friends Facebook profiles and seeing how they haven't changed that much. They're ready to go out and become adults.
The funniest thing is that just about all of them are older than me, but I've already been in the 'real world' for a year.
I haven't seen most of them since the end of the 2008 school year. I only went to high school with them for 2 years. But when you have such a small graduating class you can't help but feel like they're almost family.
I'll be going to their graduation ceremony. It'll be interesting.
I don't know if I'll cry or if I'll think to myself 'Thank goodness I'm already done.'
I've already accepted the fact that I'm an adult now and that I don't have any more 'high school' days left.
But seeing the class graduate that I was supposed to be in will probably hit home for me.
But it'll be good to see these classmates grow up and start their adult lives.
I didn't feel like this a year ago when it was my turn to graduate. It didn't hit me that I was done with my 'kid' days.
It didn't hit me that I was an adult and going to go out and face the world until testimony night at girls camp, a few weeks after graduation.
But I'm graduated and in a few weeks I'll be graduated from Seminary as well.
Things are changing, and they're changing fast.
But I'm really looking forward to what my Heavenly Father has in store for me in the future. :)
Oh, you're at a fantastic spot in life! Making major decisions, finding out who you are... Enjoy it! :)
