As far as growing up goes that's definitely happening today.
I'm now 18.
Old enough to vote.
Officially an adult.
110% 'legal' to be in the Singles Branch.
And then the moving out bit.
It's really happening.
Tabitha and I are moving into Fairbanks!
We don't actually have anything set in stone yet.
But we'll be moving into an apartment hopefully before school starts.
I'm excited for this next chapter of my life.
The past few days have been spent packing up my room.
And talking with my mom.
This chapter of my life I'll spend moving.
I AM an adult now.
I'm going to go out and live on my own.
And my parents won't be right at my side anymore, they haven't been for the past year, but they'll be further away this year.
I'm excited.
But talking to my mom made me realize something.
Now that I am an adult, there's no turning back.
This college stage will only last for a few years and before I know it
my mom's super excited about this part
I'll be making her a grandma.
I sure hope that's still a few years away.
But let's face it, I'm in a Singles Branch.
That's one of the goals I'm going to have while in it.
But I hope I'll enjoy the time I have in the Singles Branch and make friends.
And so, begins my adult life officially on my 18th birthday.
