Fail

I so fail at keeping this thing up to date.
Where to start.. Um, I'll start with Christmas morning.

So this Christmas was really interesting and different. And it was my best Christmas yet. Because, and this is what my parents said not me, it may have been my last Christmas at home with my family. They think I'll be spending next Christmas with either my boyfriend, my fiance, or my husband (whatever the man in my life is at that time). But, as we all know, currently there is no man.
But you know what? I'm accepting that more now. I think I'll probably have to leave the state to find my man. But that won't be happening for a few months at least.

Anyway, back to Christmas.
Christmas morning was different as well. I was housesitting so I had to wait for my family to come over and get me.
On Christmas Eve I said something to my mom along the lines of 'Why can't we have the tree in the middle of the room? And can we just keep the presents under the tree and pull them out one-by-one?'
So when I walked in to the house on Christmas morning, I was in for a big surprise.
The tree was in the MIDDLE of the room. NOT in the CORNER of the room. AND all the presents were STILL under the tree. It made me happy. :D
So we opened all the presents ONE AT A TIME. Best Christmas with the family EVER.

BUT the best Christmas present was talking to the older brother who's on a mission. It was so great hearing his voice. And he's got an ACCENT now! Ha. It's awesome. And to think, he's got less than 7 months left until he comes home. He's changed so much, I'm so excited to actually see him in person. I can't wait! But I guess I'll have to.

And then we got to have Christmas dinner with the cousins, aunt and uncle. :D
And I got everything that I asked for for Christmas, plus a little extra.
