Gratitude :]

It'd be super ridiculous for me not to share this...

A few weeks ago I took a survey from a resource company that helps educate teachers of young children. When I was taking some early childhood education classes back home and while I was working at a daycare, I used some of the resources from the company as well as their website. A few weeks back, I was sent an email asking to take a survey about their website and how they can better it. Before starting the survey, it told me that if I was within the first 8 people to take the survey I would receive a thermos with the company's logo on it or a $25 gift card to Amazon.com. I didn't think much of it. Fast forward a few weeks.

Today was kind of a stressful day. I even had to walk away from homework and friends and pretty much put myself in 'time out' I got so stressed. So I decided to just relax for the rest of the evening. I started by checking my email. There was an email from that company and the subject line was something to the effect of '$25 Amazon Gift Card'. And I was like, huh? Then I remembered. And I did a little happy dance!

With that gift card I was able to purchase an early Christmas gift for myself and 2 of my textbooks!!!! Each textbook costs about $100 at the school store. But I was able to get all 3 items for $40 (this is what I paid from pocket). Happy dance!!!!
