Here we go!!!
On January 9th I first met with my bishop to start my mission papers. I had a dentist appointment just before Christmas, where it was decided I needed to come back once more before my dentist would sign my papers. I had an eye exam at the end of January; I ordered new glasses, and wrote out what is wrong with my eyes so that the Brethren would understand my condition. I finally had my physical this past week. I have one more document to upload, a final interview with the bishop today, and an interview with a member of the Stake Presidency this week!!
My papers will be sent in on Thursday!!!
I'm so excited you guys. I've been dreaming of this day for a few years. It seems so surreal. This is actually reality!!
This process began just 5 weeks ago, but it seems like eternity. And the devil sure has done his part to slow the process down. But look what's happened! I'm stronger, more motivated, and I dare say even MORE excited than I was at the beginning of this process! :]
Well, as always, that's about the only thing happening in my life. But it's a good thing, right?!
Y'all can start guessing now!!
I'll put up a post or a group on Facebook sometime this week: for guesses, the announcement, and then that's where updates on me will be posted once I'm on the mission. :]
And shoot me an email, text, message, etc. letting me know how you want me to tell you where I'm going!! :)
