Rough start, getting ready for a great finish!

Hey all!
I had some down time so I thought I'd write tonight instead of tomorrow.

This week was a hard one for me. Monday was.. a Monday. I had a pretty bad stomach ache and wanted to just crawl back into bed. My room mate felt the same way. I'm confident that it was just a 24 hour bug.

Tuesday was okay. It's been raining most of this week. I don't even remember what day it started to rain. Yesterday it was just drizzling. There's nothing worse than rain that can't decide whether it's going to drizzle or if it's going to stop!

Last night I went to a show. There's a group at the college called the play theory group. Basically, they do a lot of improv and just let their imaginations go. They let go of any thoughts, any uncertainties. Basically, they act like little kids! They had a full hour of improv. It was so great!! Some friends are going to join the group. I'm not, but I will so be their cheerleader! :D

Today I went shopping with a good friend.
We just wanted to walk around the mall down the street, we weren't really planning on buying anything.
We went to Build-a-bear. It's just a few blocks away! She had never been and we just HAD to go!! I love Build-a-bear. It lets the inner child come out of even the most serious person!
We were so excited to carry our bear 'houses'. We felt kind of silly because we saw some people from school. But this is the life! :D
We had a great bonding time. Tons of fun. Shopping with friends is the BEST.

Then I came back and did homework. I'm taking a break now. My brain feels pretty much fried.

In less than two hours I'll be going on a date! My first real date since coming to Salt Lake City. Yes, I have spent time alone with a guy since I've been here. But this is different, I guess. This is the beginning of my dating life. There's no turning back now.
Some facts about the date: There is a concert at the Tabernacle tonight. Apparently it's several high school choirs from Utah. I found out about it on the church website and ordered tickets. I asked my guy friend, Nick, out on Thursday(I went to Conference with him last weekend). Yesterday he told me he wouldn't be able to make it: his brother came from Provo for the day to visit. So I struggled to find a date. I don't know many guys here at BC yet. I ended up asking the guy out last night, after the Improv show.
The guy: Fernando Gaertner. He's from Brazil, he's super TALL, and he's ridiculously amazing!

I love you all and hope you have a fantastic weekend! I know mine's going to be good. :D
